We have an opening for the 2012 season for one or possibly 2 full-time interns
May 15- Nov 1 2012
Housing, food, and a stipend will be provided
Come to the banks of the Missouri river and experience and learn with us.
Learn about small farm business skills, organic farming skills including vegetable crops and livestock, the CSA model, and see first hand the start up experiences.
An intern should have a strong desire to farm on their own in the future, be an intelligent and open problem solver, and be willing to work hard in all weather conditions.
We are 10 miles south of the capital city. There are many urban opportunities as well as experiencing the riparian area of the Missouri river, old growth cottonwood forest, public land for hiking and birdwatching, and the beautiful bluffs were the "West begins".
